About the Authors

Dr. E. Muralinath, M.V.Sc is presently working as Associate Professor, Department of Veterinary Physiology in Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, College of Veterinary Science, Proddatur. His research focuses on Prostaglandins in reproduction. He has 20 years’ experience in Veterinary Physiology and Human Physiology. Around 19 articles were published in peer reviewed journals, 04 conference proceedings (both National and International) and had attended about 12 workshops and seminars. His subjects of interest include Endocrinology, Nervous system, Blood, CVS (Cardio Vascular System), Muscular system, Digestion, Reproduction and Environmental Physiology.

Dr. K Sravani Pragna M.V.Sc., is working as assistant professor on contractual basis at College Of Veterinary Science , Proddatur. She is a life member of Society Of Animal Physiologists Of India (SAPI), Animal Physiologists Association (APA) and Indian society for the study of reproduction and fertility (ISSRF). She has done research work on leptin receptors in sheep ovarian follicles . Her objective in preparation of this bit bank is to provide quick reference for those who are preparing for competitive exams. Her subjects of interest include Endocrinology, Reproduction, Nervous Sysyem, Blood, Cardiovascular System, Digestion, Environmental Physiology

Dr. B. Divya Sri M.V.Sc., is working as Assistant Professor on contractual basis at College Of Veterinary Science, Mamnoor, Warangal . She is a life member of Animal Physiologists Association (APA) and Indian Society for the Study of Reproduction and Fertility (ISSRF). She received best presentation awards in APA and ISSRF during the year 2019. She has done research work on standardization of kisspeptin on in vitro maturation of sheep ovarian follicles. Her objective in preparation of this bit bank is to provide quick reference for those who are preparing for competitive exams. Her subjects of interest include Endocrinology, Reproduction, Nervous Sysyem , Blood, Cardiovascular System, Digestion, Environmental Physiology.

Dr. G. Dilip Reddy MVSc, PhD., is Presently working in Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, College of Veterinary Science, Proddatur, Andhra Pradesh, India, as Assistant Professor of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology since August 2013. completed graduation (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) and post-graduation (M.V.Sc in Veterinary Pharmacology; Toxicology) from Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University, College of Veterinary Science, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, subsequently Ph.D in Veterinary Pharmacology; Toxicology from Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, College of Veterinary Science, Hyderabad. Involved in teaching Veterinary Pharmacology & Toxicology discipline to UG and PG students. Guided three MV.Sc (Master’s) students as chairman of the advisory committee and two students as member. Previously worked as Senior Executive of Veterinary Services at Indian Immunologicals Ltd., Hyderabad, India and as Scientist at Panacea Biotec Ltd., New Delhi, India. Completed two research projects. Published 20 research papers of National and international repute, One book chapter, 5 popular articles and 20 Abstracts in different Seminars. Attended 25 National and International Training/Seminar/Conference/Symposium/ Workshop for oral and poster presentations. Present research revolves around the preparation, characterization and evaluation of modified formulations (Nanoparticles, Nano-suspensions, microspheres etc.) of various veterinary drugs to improve their pharmacokinetics, efficacy and safety.

Dr. M. Guru Prasad obtained 36 International articles and 01 National article. Dr. Prasad has attended 02 Training Programmes. He has given one Radio talk and 01 Inventory talk also. Dr. Prasad has five year’s experience in teaching. He worked SOM Phytopharma for 15 years as a Research Executive also.
