About the Authors
Mr. Shashikant has done B. Pharmacy and M.Pharmacy (pharmacology) from Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, MDU, Rohtak. He has written good quality research and review articles. He is running his own pharmacy outlet and focusing on market surveys on current health issues, drug resistance, drug tolerance and reoccurrence cases of diseases. Also assessing the public knowledge, attitude and practice on medicine use with respect to pharmacoeconomics of essential medicines and their rational use.
Ms. Beena Kumari is working as Assistant Professor in (Pharmaceutics) Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Indira Gandhi University. She has good teaching experience in Pharma domain. She passed her B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy (Industrial Pharmacy) from Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, MDU, Rohtak. She has awarded two gold medals for having top position in B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy. Her areas of interest include preformulation studies, surveys, tablets and microspheres and formulation related aspects. She is pursuing PhD from GD Goenka University. She has more than 10 publications including book chapter, research and review articles in various reputed journals. She has passion for teaching and has been actively involved in various academic and extracurricular activities for student and faculty development. She hold life time membership of APTI.
